Carbon Vote Summary

It has been 13 days since the start of the carbon vote for the two DigixDAO parameters. 130 votes and 536103 DGDs have been counted, which is equivalent to 26.8% of the total supply of DGDs. We have officially crossed the 300000 DGD quorum by a huge margin (and Digix has not actually voted). This goes to show how active DGD holders are in governance, which is a promising sign to an eventual success of DigixDAO.

Carbon Vote Instructions

In the event that you have not voted, please see the following blog post and video tutorials on how to vote via the different ways.

The carbon vote will be active until Saturday, September 1, 2018 8:00:00 AM UTC. So DGD holders who haven’t yet voted, still have ample time to cast their votes.

Reputation points accorded in this round of Carbon Voting

Please note that participants in this carbon vote will be awarded a certain amount of reputation points when DigixDAO is live.

DigixDAO Smart Contract Testing

We have briefly described the architecture of DigixDAO smart contracts here. In the past month, we have been extensively testing these contracts. Up until now, we have tested these contracts for most of the basic functionalities. Our code repository is open sourced and we encourage you to follow the instructions here to build and test the contracts.

The tests so far cover the Storage as well as Interactive layer of DigixDAO smart contracts. We have demonstrated a test run-through in the following video.

Please note that even though we have covered most of the basic functionalities, and tested the contracts for logic and security, there may still be some complex scenarios and game theoretic exploitations that we may not have taken into account. We are at the moment working on testing these contracts for all such possible scenarios, trying to spot any vulnerabilities.

We also encourage readers to go through our Governance Model to grasp an in-depth understanding of DigixDAO.

We always appreciate feedback from the community on any angles, so do drop us a note or join our channels below:
