This is an interesting perspective. I’m not sure that everyone agrees with you, or even a majority. The need for privacy is inalienable and exists in every culture in the World. Having a ‘better’ user experience with AI at the expense of my privacy is not something I would opt-in for. I am sure Apple knows there is a market for that type of user, as can be seen in their latest additions to Safari, where tracking companies are effectively hindered.

As for their investments in AI — Lattice Data, Turi, Tuplejump, et al. I don’t see Apple falling behind yet, and I don’t see any support for that argument in your article.
