#365DaysOfWriting Day 23: An Attempt At Poetry

She always keeps falling behind,
 He wants her on the same page;
 She has a lot to catch up on,
 Before she can march ahead.

He knows his old methods are right,
 Tradition never goes stale.
She has a new chapter to write,
 A chance to make a new tale.

Then, she wanted validation,
 And threw all her ideas away.
 Now, she can write her own chapter,
 So what if it’s in another book?

She’ll still be mentioned in their tales,
 Coz of her unfaltering ties,
 But she has learnt a lot from him,
 Especially how to skip repeating the lines.
