#365DaysOfWriting Day 91: Deadlines

I had a productive afternoon, today, after quite a long time. For ages, I’d been trying to seat myself down and complete an article that was due. No matter how hard I tried, somehow, I just did not seem to get any inspiration.

It is difficult writing to advocate something, when at some level, you don’t agree with it. I guess that I still have some time before I am able to truly adjust to my opinions at a professional and personal level.

Despite a lot of procrastination, as the deadline loomed over my head, I finally got it done. I won’t say that I’m extremely proud of the end-result, but the end-product was decent — I could not have managed better in the short span of time that I churned it out.

I guess it’s true — what they say — the best form of inspiration for any task is last minute panic!
