Day 126: No Electricity #365DaysOfWriting

Today has been a long day.

I had to wake up early only to discover there was no water in my bathroom as the water pump wasn’t working. It was the same story with my brother — in fact, his AC was also not functioning.

In the afternoon, it was raining cats and dogs as a result of which internet was down, and Tata Sky ensured there was no signal available for watching TV. I used the time to catch up with some reading. Just when the rain stopped, electricity went! Staying indoors on a hot day for over an hour without electricity is frightful.

It made me realise how we take certain things for granted. When the lights came back, I heaved such a huge sigh of relief!
