Diya Foundation towards Hunger free world
Diya foundation has started a new move to eliminate Hunger under it’s new move named
WAR AGAINST HUNGER along with Care & Concern Foundation which aims to save lives of those who cant afford square meal
a day and malnourished children in India.
There are 842 million chronically hungry people in the world.
836 million Indians survive on less than Rs. 20.
India has 212 million undernourished people.
Over 7.000 Indians die of hunger every day.
1/3rd of the world’s hungry live in India.
30% of newborn are of low birth weight, 56% of married women are anemic and
79% of children age 6–35 months are anemic.

PROVISIONS TO THE BPL FAMILIES
Diya Foundation in association with Care & Concern Foundation, New Delhi will be
distributing provisions to the BPL Families. It Includes five kg rice, three kg sugar, five kg daal and two ltr of cooking oil.
