Tesla stock took a nose-dive since UFC commentator, Joe Rogan had Silicon Valley entrepreneur Elon Musk as a guest on his famous podcast and the billionaire indulged in a marijuana smoke session. Although he only took a quick toke and it was probably a publicity stunt to add shock value, the internet is still in a tweeting frenzy.

Tesla stock dropped 8 percent, most likely making it one of the most expensive blunts ever smoked.

You can check out the video below

The two talked for two and a half hours about A.I. and the dangers it could pose, social media, and selling his much-publicized ”flamethrowers” that aren’t really flamethrowers.

Although it might not have been a financially smart move on his part, it just goes to show that the eccentric billionaire could care less about being politically correct.

Consequently, this little stunt has caught the attention of the US Air Force. Musk’s rocket company SpaceX is currently partners with the US Air Force which prohibits military personnel and individuals who receive federal funds for projects to smoke marijuana. The US Air Force has released a statement saying that they will be ”looking into” the matter, but an official investigation has yet to be launched.

It doesn’t seem to be a really big deal, although you could definitely see the hypocrisy in the CEO of a company that drug tests its employees to indulge in such activities.

Nevertheless, the internet has already had a field day with the podcast and Elon Musk memes like the one posted below are popping up on every social media site.

Whether Tesla stock regains its losses or not, these memes are definitely internet gold!

I will update this article as the story develops.
