The analytics panel isn’t robust, but I don’t use it very often anyways. Like you brought up in your post, I’m more concerned with the dialogue with readers than core “view” numbers. I’d rather my work be read by fewer but more engaged readers than by a bunch of people just clicking through.

You can already see the click-baity titles and listicles getting traction because the content distribution and curation experience isn’t clear or very targeted. Everyone is trying to figure out what gets followers and “hearts”, so the default seems to be creating content that’s the lowest hanging fruit. I’ve done it myself as a test…but far from what I ideally want to write.
