Can Robots — manage an Data center?

Software elements control, what happens in the Data center. Human intervention is not required anymore.

We expect that Hardware will fail & failure is part of our Data center design. We don’t need traditional style of having alerts, UI Monitoring dashboard and pagers.

The Software defined agents will Control and do the auto healing after every disaster and failure events. Agents know the Desired state and they will make sure that the Data center state is in a Desired state.

Agents will reduce cost, manual intervention & config changes.

Agents are replacing the Ops team, wherever we need to do troubleshooting and changing Configurations.

Software is eating Hardware.
