Doctor Richard Reid

Dr Richard Reid, a Conjoint Associate Professor of the University of Newcastle, has interest in menopause management, vulvo-vaginal disease, and pain relief medicine. He has been a fellow of American College of Surgeons, American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecology, member of Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, and diplomate of American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This NSW based medical professional has won several awards, associated with a number of editorial boards, and worked with several domestic and international committees.

Doctor Richard Reid holds rich experience as a gynecologist, surgeon, and medical researcher. He has participated in several philanthropic efforts — Course Director of Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Biennial Course in Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, Cervical & Vulvar Pathology and Gynecologic Laser Surgery, International Conference on HPV and Genital Carcinoma, American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, 060 Post Graduate Course, Clinical Laser Surgery in Gynecology, Prolapse and Incontinence Surgery, A “Defect-Specific” Approach, and Liverpool Health Service, Workshop in Pelvic Reconstruction Surgery. In addition, he has been the Course Co-Director of Advanced Vaginal & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery — A Skills Workshop, which was held at the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and University of London for five consecutive years from 2006 to 2010.

Besides a successful medical professional, Doctor Richard Reid is also a sports lover, and skiing, rugby, and American football are his favorite games.
