Here is a chart breaking down the Democratic National Committee chairmanship debate, which occurred February 22, 2017. Riding on the chairmanship selection, on February 25 in Atlanta, was the next phase of the Democratic Party. The party is threatened with increased marginalization after years of worsening results in national and statewide elections, which is no joke, a few lights barbs here notwithstanding.

And here’s the Maher discussion that is discussed in the debate. You be the judge. I think Ellison (my cousin) is correct, but the incident still costs him debate points. Not many people are going to look it up.
