What a lovely tribute to bread, and mothers, and coping with grief.

Over the years I have learned how to make the flour, water, yeast and salt do my bidding. I love bread and what it can do for families, friends and ourselves.

Thanks for sharing. Today I shall bake. Maybe ciabatta, with the big holes and chewy crumb. But whatever it is, I’ll use my mom’s bowl.
