You know — it’s interesting. I am compelled to read your posts — I believe that bearing one’s soul out is an interesting read. I do wonder, though, how this might diminish the actual work you are doing in your therapy. In other words: turning your day to day therapeutic process into a consumable MIGHT be a way of avoiding therapy. Like, you’re performing a bit for us. Or asking us all to come into this ride with you, when really, it is your ride to figure out with yourself. On the other hand — exposing everything so publicly might be a great way to burn stuff off at a faster rate. I will say this: and I say it with respect and care: it feels a bit manic, like you’re actually running at a pace that is faster than the rate of emotional truth that is arising. Busy monkey mind. Words are interesting. But pre-verbal states of being are often the culprits that tie us to our misery. Besides, you may be lying in these posts…because, often, in a therapeutic process, the rationalizer-defender can get enormous. We must make room to understand that that may be what is going on. Or, we may need to understand that I don’t exactly understand what you are writing, exactly, because you are being intellectual about things that are very emotional: so I’m getting words and ideas and arch types and symbols, more than I am getting feelings. But hell, I’ve always been more Freudian than Jungian and I don’t like fantasy movies.
