It’s Not an Election, Without an Option to Vote Against a Candidate

When we’re given the option to be counted as approving of a particular political candidate being elected to represent us in some political office, it’s not really an election if we can’t choose to instead be counted as disapproving of electing that same candidate to that same office for that same purpose. If you wish to NOT be represented by a particular candidate but the closes you can come to getting that counted is to instead be counted as voting in favor of electing some other specific candidate, something is badly wrong with that arrangement. Only with balanced options can any election truly be fair, or even come close to being fair.
