How to Train Promising Leaders to Overcome the Bystander Effect
Coach Tony

Well done! And I completely agree. I was fortunate enough when I was in high school to serve on a cliff rescue squad — the kind that get sent out to retrieve folks who’ve fallen down a cliff, or a tree in the woods, etc.

It was two years of weekly training, that I’ve been grateful for ever since. I got a chance to practice how to behave in a crisis — assess the situation, what do you need, what do you have, how to get the rest, etc. — in a way that’s been hardwired ever since.
