I think there are definitely times when people are in no state to achieve what they desire. There are times that other factors keep you away from reaching your desired goal. But does that mean you should not try? Because the point of this article was to say: go for it.

I didn’t say you’ll succeed 10/10 times. I said that hard work beats talent in the long run, and definitely if talent doesn’t work. There are exceptions. People their lives get ruined thanks to external factors, although they worked hard.
But does that stop those people from trying?
Jesus no. And I didn’t say the people with mental or physical disabilities don’t work. If talented people work as much as non-talented, the one with the most talent will mostly beat out the untalented one.
But does that stop the untalented one from trying?

If you truly believe you can’t reach something because of a disability, setbacks or another factor that has nothing to do with the amount of work you put in, then that’s a shame.
If you give it your 50%, 60%, 70% of work and you state that it’s impossible or that it cannot be reached, then that’s a shame.
But if you give it your 100% and try to get over the setbacks, I’m convinced that in general you will succeed.

Of course we can take every disability, obstacle, event, rarity, voodoo magic in account and say that you can still fail. But generally speaking: working hard will get you results.
