How does an expensive salad shop going cashless equal racism? Bizarre.
Jason E

Jason Ericsson, good question! The restaurant going cashless doesn’t equal racism at all and I’m pretty sure I didn’t state that in my story. I do however point to the fact that communities of color are historically disproportionately unbanked. My neighborhood is one of diverse income levels and backgrounds. I think its important that we discuss this through the lens of access and expansion of options. In my opinion the new policy is limiting for some. Thank you for your comment.
