Phase 1 in office upgrades.

After eleven years of designing for good causes and good people, we are taking things to the next level. We are excited to announce that Dot Slash has relocated to a bigger, brandier studio space in Boardwalk Office Park, Olympus.

We moved into our new offices, driven by the need for a larger space.

We moved into our new offices, driven by the need for a larger space, more parking and better access. Our old Dot Slash office was stuffed with people. We had to take turns using the microwave and the kitchen was only big enough for one person at a time. We were simply running out of room. It was time.

The entrance was completely redone to ensure we welcome clients into our meeting room.

Motivating Factors

While we were happy with our old space, there were several motivating factors to make a move:

We were able to start from scratch by knocking down walls and putting up others that better fit our team and how we’re growing.

When we first moved into our last office, there were five of us and plenty of room. When we left, there were too many and space was getting tight. The new office offered more square footage, but more importantly it allowed for us to rethink our layout. We were able to start from scratch by knocking down walls and putting up others that better fit our team and how we’re growing.

With more space, more tech was soon to follow. Phase 2 would include decorating the clean look.

We went from a pretty traditional, unremarkable space with a lot of boring blues and whites to a much more vivid, colourful and open design. We carried our branding from the website to the interior of the office.

It was also very important for us to maintain natural light throughout the entire space, making all areas as inviting as possible. We added a purple glass filter to the reception area so that when the light filters into the main workspaces it gives it that personal touch. Our meeting room now also boasts skype conference facilities, a competitive table-tennis boardroom table and a Smart TV.

It’s all about getting the work done, and we started right away. The development team at their best

Location, Location, Location

The new studio space is located right by the main entrance and puts us within easy walking distance to some great restaurants, coffee shops and plenty more. We hope our new location will help boost our visibility in the area. What a difference a 100m makes!

The New Chapter

It has been an exciting eleven years for Dot Slash and we look at this new location as the start of another chapter in our history. We’re still working on getting settled in and adding artwork and purpleness to the walls, but we’re incredibly excited to be in the new space.

For people who don’t know us, it’s a much more comfortable and inviting environment for you to learn about us and what we do.
