I often worry if I’m operating at too much of an abstraction or with too limited an access to the real problems in healthcare.
To MD or not MD
Sherman Leung

The real problems in healthcare are related to people suffering, people with anxiety and little access and understanding.

There is no healthcare system…it’s a series of loosly connected patches. We need to start small and base our innovation on humanity, not technology.

I’m all for prototyping but once you’ve left the guild of treating people, and you enter the shiny tower of ‘scale’, you’ve lost sight of the fear in people’s eyes and lost the respect of the guild that is medicine…down in the trenches, one patient and complex medico-social issues at a time.

Humans don’t scale, businesses do

Businesses don’t ‘care’, humans do.
