Introduction
Staking your VARA Network tokens is an important step when it comes to being a participant in the VARA ecosystem. This post is to serve as a brief beginner’s guide to staking.
- Set up your VARA Network Wallet: You'll need to either download the SubWallet App for iOS or for Android, or you can use the Web dashboard. Connecting the browser extension makes things much easier all around. I recommend SubWallet because you control your keys and the UI/UX are fairly nice.
***It is extremely important to follow the instructions closely when setting up your wallet. Make sure you save your seed phrases in a secure spot. If you lose your seed phrase and lose access to your wallet, no one will be able to help you reset your access.***
2. Purchase VARA: Next, you'll need to purchase VARA from an exchange. Currently (December 30, 2023), the only exchange available to purchase VARA tokens is Coinbase. In the future, if other exchanges list Vara Network, you can find the other markets on websites like CoinMarketCap.
