Thank you for sharing this beautiful and vulnerable piece of your self. As a cis-woman I know that I have at times behaved in similar ways as the women you write about, particularly as I was growing and navigating my own identity and gender expectations. This is just a further reminder that being a feminist, woman of color does not mean that I have the right to judge all other expressions of what it means to be a woman, man, or somewhere in between or outside. I will not be taking your vulnerability for granted.
