I See Her Face

I see her face,

In burnt embers,

Ashes,

Awaiting wind,

Form gone,

Repurposed,

Not lost,

A dream grown,

Far past morning…

I see her face,

Written,

In every crowd;

Alone,

Yearning,

For a single touch,

Falling,

No place to land,

Bleeding,

Silent tears,

Behind smiling lips,

Hearing no one,

Calling a name,

So precious.

I see her face.
