She Is Poetry

She is poetry:

Not the golden curls,

Nor sapphire eyes;

The art,

Her art,

Lays hidden;

Invisible,

Behind those eyes:

Dark pools of secrets,

Stories never told:

Stars hung,

Flowers blossoming,

Taking breath away,

Returning it in gasps:

Too much beauty,

Spilling out of sanity,

Shaming dreams:

Reminding him,

Chiding him,

Gifting him:

A life of poetry,

All in a single look.
