Taiwan Sunrise

Awakened by the breath,

Of ten thousand things,

Unfamiliar sky lines beckon,

Sitting in the Grey,

Between Night and Day,

Sun hidden,

By a veil of mist,

Embraced by gentle breezes,

Caressed as raindrops,

Run down my cheeks,

Like tears of joy,

A traveller returns home,

After a thousand years,

Finding Stillness,

Has not changed.
