The Appointment

Whispers@Dawn

Traveling far,

Looking across spaces,

And species;

Each in a box,

Protection,

Against unknown threats.

Each challenged,

No easy breath,

Persisting,

In a Sea of Fear.

By Love’s command,

First touch,

Risking safety,

An exchange of trust.

A gentle brush,

As molecules awaken,

Recognizing,

A language before Time.

Sitting in a Circle,

Love laughing,

As forgotten threats,

Rise,

As smoke that clouds,

Heart’s eyes.

Stomach twists,

Anticipating threat,

But Love smiles gently.

Head turns,

Eyes meet,

A channel through Light…

She leans forward,

Sniffing,

Inquiring,

Testing…

Finally deciding,

Allowing hands,

Wandering,

Seeking Truth,

God’s thumbprint,

The map for next steps.

Heat runs,

Head burns,

As a story flows,

Telling of Love,

Trapped in little cages,

Witnessing death,

Helpless & mystified,

Rescued,

But still imprisoned,

Until Angels listen,

And looking,

Discover Now.

Hands burn,

Pleasure & pain,

Finding its rightful places,

As breath returns,

And a quiet purr,

Says everything.

Healing comes,

As Love permits,

Banishing bonds,

We are freed,

Love permitting,

One touch,

One look,

One time.
