Invisible in shadows,

Whispering Sweet Death,

Ten thousand reasons,

Urgings to sit & wait,

Justification,

Excuses for Greed & Pride,

Isolating Hearts & Minds;

It’s Vision?

A constitution of decay,

High principles fading,

Masquerading as New Ideas,

Practicing “practicality,”

A reality of convenience…

The Killer smiles,

Luring listeners,

Into smaller Parties,

Incapable of connection,

Dialog lost in rhetoric,

A Circle broken,

Sides without a whole,

Suffering while smiling,

Eyes too scarred to see.
