Love the point on “organizational anthropology”, I essentially do this when I’m asked to consult on organizational dynamics for companies. There are definitely cultural ‘trend setters’ that have an outsized impact on culture, though they’re not always the most exemplary team members (e.g. office managers are highly influential through informal means).

I agree because most aspirational values are essentially ‘fluff values’ that never will be practiced. But I do think it’s possible to realize that you’re falling short on some facet and make a concerted effort to be better at practicing a certain value (and is ‘aspirational’ in a real, practical sense).
