Pente. It’s a variant of a Japanese game played on a Go board. Anywhere from 2 to 10 players on one game(more than 8 gets REAL crazy though). Basic rules are simple: capture a certain number of the enemies’ stones, or get a certain number of your stone in a row.

Strategy is key and can become very complex, or it can be simple as checkers. It all depends on the players.

It isn’t even expensive. You can create your own board and playing pieces fairly easily and at next to zero cost — if that.
