I spent my weekend at the Glens Falls Civic Center watching our volleyball team compete in the state final four tournament.

Saturday was especially enjoyable because I sat next to one of my best friends, Tyler Schmidt. After watching about 6 games, Tyler and I decided to get up, stretch, and use the restroom. But this was an ever so slightly different experience than just going to the bathroom.

As we’re both going number one, I here him freak out from my position in the stall. He began reading to me a message on a poster above his urinal. The sign was an advertisement for a local truck dealership. The message read “We aim to please you. We hope you aim too, please.”. Now this just baffled him. I can also say, I was lost too.

Well, after a short walk of trying to decipher this motto, we got back to our seats. Tyler was still unsettled about the whole thing, so he immediately told our school mates Bree, Carey, and Kelly what he say in the john.

In an instant, we were shamed as men. The girls automatically knew the joke behind the advertisement. It’s not that we weren’t reading it correctly; it must have just flew over our dumb little heads. Anyway, we didn’t feel bad. Tyler and I just laughed it off like we were doing non stop that entire day.

Don’t forget — if you don’t get the joke, you’re dumb too!
