Sewage Drainage in Alexandria

In on one Virginia’s most wealthy areas, sewage and storm water are constantly flowing into the Potomac River. Many citizens are angered by the fact that one of Virginia’s most wealthiest areas is having this issue. Town representatives are attempting to get pay from the state to fix the issue.

Fairfax County Fined $64,450

Fairfax county has been storing various types of oils and gases in tanks underground and did not undergo correct safety procedures. Because of the failure to test for leaks, Fairfax County is now being fined as a result. Officials have released that even though these violations occurred, no leaks or any damage has been detected.

Dangerous Lynchburg Escaped Inmate Detained.

Lynchburg officials detained escaped convict Jame Pavlis on Sept. 12. Pavlis escaped from prison early morning and was later captured near the Concord Turnpike on Sept. 14. It ended in a result of a high speed chase, resulting in a crash.
