Wanna Hear Something Completely Sick?

As a Baton Rouge native and previous colleague to some of Alton Sterling’s friends and family, I’m crushed. My heart breaks for our black community.

Tbh, it was just a matter of time before one of these murders was caught on tape. We can only hope justice will be served.

So what can white people do? Some times we have a tendency to not speak out because “it’s not our place” or we fear our black sisters and brothers deriding us for “not understanding.”

  1. Acknowledge that you do not understand their point of view.
  2. Acknowledge that you benefit from privilege that the black community does not.
  3. That’s it.
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
