So many tasks, so little motivation. It’s common knowledge, that the quintessential lifestyle of the new age Indian involves a frustratingly long list of everyday tasks. Uninvited guests to this stress party include painfully long lines, infuriating traffic, the unreasonable need for one’s bum to leave the couch or worse yet, actual social interaction with fellow humans. To quote the enduring wisdom of an erstwhile meme, ‘Ain’t nobody got time for that!’. However, Indians being Indians, have coped, and how!

Dunzo’s year end trend report shows how 2018 saw Indians masterfully manage their day-to-day chores by cleverly leveraging every possible convenience offered by the 24X7 ‘anything delivery’ app. From forgotten chargers to remembered birthdays. From Tupperware to underwear. From laundry to luxury. Folks all over the country unlocked their phones, and opened their doors to labour-less deliveries.

The 20 razors deliveries on 30th of Movember shaved the users some trouble, while

the 75 clothes resized post Diwali meant that some sweets clearly went to waist. And for all those who were looking for a ‘single’ serving of comfort, 89 tubs of ice-cream were delivered on Valentine’s day.

Interestingly, late night deliveries also included 1,041 sanitary pads. Clearly, periods have no time-table.
