What Is The Dwoskin Family Foundation?
For over 10 years, the Dwoskin Family Foundation has focused efforts on discovering the causal reasons of neurological disorders, inflammatory conditions and autoimmune diseases in pediatric populations and older adults through the funding of research. Since the 1980s, once-rare autoimmune and inflammatory diseases have become increasingly prevalent and the Dwoskin Family Foundation’s mission is to find out why. Some of the diseases and health conditions that have been on the rise vary from autism to asthma to age-related neurological disorders like Alzheimer’s disease. With that said, it’s important to find out why these conditions and disorders happen because it can provide answers to the prevention, treatment and cure of such diseases.
The founders of the foundation, Claire and Albert Dwoskin, have made strides towards funding the efforts of scientists, investigators and researchers with special equipment to find possible solutions of chronic health conditions found in children. These research efforts are aimed to raise awareness of chronic illness and to provide the public with information that’s hard to find. The philanthropic foundation provides 100% of all funds donated to ongoing and new research, which may provide the answers everyone is looking for.
The research strategy focuses on the causation of the illness, as it is the key to prevention. With methodologically sound research like controlled studies, data discovery, bench science and other practices, the medical and scientific community can take another step forward in combating diseases.
Since the Dwoskin Family Foundation was a private foundation, it faced some limitations as how it could raise donated funds. Certain laws that were governing tax-exemptions made it challenging to put 100% of all funds towards the organization’s mission. With that, Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute (CMSRI) was founded as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization where all donations to made to the institute are tax-deductible and provide 100% funding from donations towards research. The cores principles, mission and efforts were transitioned to CMSRI and with never-ending research, the causal reasons for the onset of various autoimmune and neurological diseases will surface.
Currently, the researchers and scientists funded by CMSRI have found very strong evidence of environmentally-based causation factors that point towards toxins such as aluminum, mercury and other environmental dangers. Stay up-to-date on the latest research efforts by following this page.
