The consequences are huge to be honest. Large scale disaffection from the populace about government at all levels — we have to show that we are responsive and that we work to make people’s lives better. Next step is thinking about how we frame this change — how do we make sure we take staff with us? If we make the problem insurmountable, we do nothing. I’m really interested in how public services involved in change processes. Currently blogging on how Swansea ran a scrutiny inquiry on corporate cultue — really in teresting, trying my best not to make it too dry!
