Dynasty Machine Franchise Celebrates 10th Season by Introducing New Logo, Commemorating Their Past

SOMERVILLE (March 12, 2016) — Dynasty Machine today introduced their new green and white color scheme and logos as the organization prepares for its 10th season in The League.

Designed by Appleton Creative Agency, the Dynasty Machine brand identity incorporates a simplified green and white color palette into a logo that honors their rich tradition of winning, with a subtle nod to the Irish heritage of team owner, Matt Flight.

Dynasty Machine has two primary logos. One features a leprechaun with his left hand resting on a baseball bat, his right index finger pointing upward with a white baseball spinning atop. Due to potential copyright issues and refusal of service with the team’s primary printing supplier, Dynasty Machine introduced a second logo featuring a simple shamrock with “Dynasty Machine” in arched print over the top.

“A brand is a commitment and promise to fans and hopefully when they look at a logo, a uniform or secondary logo, they see that promise conveyed through that,” says Angela Flight, Dynasty Machine’s director of marketing. “We are trying to communicate our rich history of winning and our commitment to the future all within this new brand identity.”

As part of their identity launch, Dynasty Machine has introduced its ‘#HelloSavannah’ multifaceted marketing campaign to drum up excitement in the city where the 2016 Dynasty Machine team will be drafted and introduced to the public. The campaign features activity across all team digital and social media platforms for fans to win Dynasty Machine apparel.

“In the end, a logo works as a connection to fans, a way to generate excitement and build emotional ties to an organization,” says Angela Flight. “When a team finds a logo that sells, or a tradition that evokes 10-year-old memories, you tap into that logo and brand it across as many platforms as possible.”

According to team owner, Matt Flight, fans will have even more to look forward to this off-season.

“While we’re constantly looking ahead to 2016 and beyond, we’re an organization that celebrates its history and recognizes our past heroes,” says Flight. “Since it’s our 10th season, we’re going to honor ten players who have meant the most to this franchise.”

Dynasty Machine plans to announce its “Franchise Top Ten” in the days leading up to the draft on March 19th. You’ll see it all, right here on the official blog of Dynasty Machine fantasy baseball.
