Dyson Sphere DAO
The Dyson Sphere project is proposed by Liu Cixin, the first Asian whose work won the Hugo Award for Best Novel. It’s owned by a collective of members called Dyson Sphere DAO, where users can initiate proposals, express their creativity and seek consensus and acceptance.
Reasons for establishment of Dyson Sphere DAO are as follows. There are some details still on the way, but they are the goals we are pursuing.
To Involve More People in Collaboration
With the establishment of the DAO organization, the project is no longer owned by a certain group of people, but jointly owned by those who contribute to the project. In the Dyson Sphere Metaverse, purchasing Dyson Sphere NFT, enough communities active level, and possessing certain skills, such as writing and translation, will provide you with the qualifications to the Dyson Sphere DAO. The operation of DAO will continuously attract more people to participate in the project governance, and can achieve this great project success through collaboration.
High efficiency
The source and destination of every fund and vote of the DAO are open and transparent, so there will be no fraud, and the cost of supervision will be reduced.
It can reduce costs, as there is no room for negotiation to execute a decision. It can only operate and evaluate according to the smart contract.
Equality
DAO has no hierarchical structure, everyone is equal, and everyone can propose a plan for the organization and may be used.
Dyson Sphere DAO
An open and transparent voting mechanism does not give anyone decision-making power. Moreover, all participants hold DAO tokens. The better the DAO runs, the more valuable the tokens will be. This is linked to self-interest and will make decision-making more fair.
In more detail, we can temporarily divide DAO into three categories, one is group member, one is the governance token ELD holder, and the other is Dyson Sphere NFT holder. Group members can vote for group work. Governance token ELD holders can vote for projects, and the staking time may affect voting weight. Only Dyson Sphere NFT holders can vote for things related to revenue. ELD can be obtained from staking Dyson Sphere NFT and playing the game, which means that NFT holders play an important role in voting of the project.
It is worth a mention that in addition to joining the DAO, the NFT holders are given more rights in Dyson Sphere. NFT holders can get a portion of the project’s copyright revenue. Dyson Sphere links NFT rights to income, and strives to maximize the rights and interests of each member.
