Lucifers last plea

The first age of creation was known as the Age of the Angels. A time when The Grand Architect’s first creation, The Angels, ruled the mortal realm. The world during this time was right, and in order in every possible way. It was an age of resplendent beauty and progress. The angels carried out the will of the Grand Architect without question as personal agency was unknown to them. The barrier between heaven and the mortal realm was non-existent. It was quite literally Heaven on Earth. The humans of this time were servants of these divine beings, and pious in all ways to their rulership. Although the world lacked color, depth, and variety. So were born the Hungering Powers.

The Hungering powers are the “Shadow” of the Grand Architect, and are of him, and through him, like all of his other children. These are the powers of Chaos, Destruction, and The Black Sun. These colors allowed the Grand Architect the palate needed to diversify his creation with a beauty that only darkness and destruction can bring. It is often believed that the Grand Architect has ultimate authority in the cosmos, and while this is absolute truth he is a father amongst all other things first. No matter the transgression a child may bring against the father, the cosmic father has love for all his creations. And like any child they have their own unique nature separate but related to the father. Which at times means active rebellion.

The introduction of the hungering powers at first gave the angels wonder and awe, but soon they realized their honored place was in competition. The Grand Architect had need for additional colors to paint with, and for some, this was seen as a slight. Among the disillusioned, a leader rose to prominence. His name was Lucifer. As the first children observed gods obsession with his new creation their jealousy grew within them, and while not being able to act in direct defiance of God’s will due to their nature, a cadre of them became more vocally discontent. The Grand Architect would not be disobeyed, and banished the angels who spoke against his infallible will.

A prison for the fallen

The Grand Architect using his new colors painted a prison for the angels made of chaos, darkness, and destruction. God believed that this would instruct the angels on the importance of their position, but it had the opposite effect, and embittered the fallen angels towards the father. And in the dark Lucifer began to hold congress with the Hungering Powers. He quickly realized that they held contempt for the father as well. While the hungering powers were given agency to act within their nature, unimpeded by god, they were given a lesser standing than the angels, and would forever hold the Grand Architect in contempt. Lucifer promised the Black Sun prominence as lord on high if he and his brothers worked in tandem to wrench control back from the Grand Architect. Lucifer and his brothers still had one problem. Their unending devotion to God. However God had given Lucifer and his brothers the paintbrush needed to rewrite their story. With the aid of the Lord of Chaos, Lucifer Ripped his wings from his body and replaced them with unholy morphing creations made of chaos. The wings of an angel represent their bondage to God, and without them they free themselves from the authority of the Grand Architect. And so a plan was hatched and the time of the angels was soon to come to a ruinous end.

The fallen wings of lucifer

Lucifer and the fallen angels played the grand architects game, and feigned repentance for their slight against the father. This however, was a ruse with the father close at hand Lucifer released the Lord of Destruction on him. A beam of unholy hell fire was released shattering the Grand Architect into an infinite number of soul shards strewn across the mortal realm. Lucifer’s Fallen Angels had crafted wands of pure annihilation to aid them in their conquest of heaven. The Wands of the Apocalypse represented False Hope, War, The Black, and Death. In the ensuing chaos it was clear that the insurrection led by Lucifer against heaven would destroy all existence, and as a final act of desperation the Archangel Michael, flew to the Tree of Life with great haste. The Tree of Life is the origin of all creation, a holy tree said to have been the Grand Architects first design. It was fabled, even among the angels, that the tree held quite literally the power of god within it, and that whoever wielded its branches would wield the power of the Grand Architect. Michael snapped a branch and wielding it he uttered the name of god, and split the realms saving heaven from total annihilation, and placing it in opposition to hell with the mortal realm caught in the middle.

Top Left: Death, Top Right: False Hope, Bottom Left: The Black, Bottom Right: War
The Sundering of God Created the immortal souls of man

The Sundering left the mortal realm a battlefield between the forces of light and dark for the soul shards of the Grand Architect. These soul shards now live within the hearts of the men of the mortal realm. With god no longer on the throne in heaven Lucifer ruled as a Lesser Architect in hell, and god’s absence allowed the rule of the Black Sun as lord high in the mortal realm. Its celestial mass consuming the light of day on the mortal realm. And so began the age of the Black Sun.

The power of the Sundering ripped The Wands of the Apocalypse and the Tetragrammaton from their owners hands. Casting them down into the mortal realm. They are the only wands known to be held by angels and demons respectively, and have never turned up throughout history. Many believe this story to be a fanciful creation to explain the gap of knowledge we have regarding the age of the Angels, and the beginning and middle of the age of the Black Sun. However, God cannot be destroyed, the Sundering Merely created dissonance and confusion. over the eons of time the Grand Architect will reform in his resplendent glory and Lucifer the Great Deceiver will be vanquished. or so it is prophesied.
