A Wedding Highlight
As a wedding videography company, we provide several types of videos for our clients- the ceremony, the highlight, interview booth, same-day edit, growing up video, proposal video, and trash the dress. All these videos are super fun and are unique in their own way.
I’ve already touched on Trash the Dress in one of my recent posts. Today I would like to talk about one in particular.
For the most part, people know what we mean when we say “highlight”. But not everyone completely understands what the video is, or why they should have one for their wedding. We’re here to clear it up for you!
A highlight video, is about 3–6 minutes long. The length depends on what song you choose to use. Couples have a choice in what song to use, but as a helpful tip, run the song choice by the editor of your video. They will be able to determine whether or not it will work with your film. “Shut Up and Dance” is a great song, but it may not go with the vibe of your highlight video.
Highlight videos are literally just the “highlights” of your wedding day. From the start of the day when the bride is getting her make up on, to the ceremony, all the way to the reception. It is a summarization of your big day in the length of your song.
These videos are great because you can watch them over and over again. This is where we capture the happy emotional parts of your day. This is the film that will make you cry, laugh, and cry again. Since this video is shorter in length, you can share it on social media with your friends and family. They too can experience the great memorable day, over and over.
This is why at EBC Weddings, we offer the highlight video with every package. In fact, the White package just includes the highlight. We believe this video, is essential in capturing and telling your story.
