Objectives:
After this lesson, students will be able to:
· Interpret learning as a factor in perpetuating global student peace.
· Identify attitudes and behaviors that are consistent with student peace building and harmonize with Universal Declaration of Human Rights in addition to other global peace agreements.
· Comprehend the impact of just one student standing up for a united classroom.
· Examine, through historical documentation, factors that contribute to current unrest and mistrust amidst communities and cultures.
· Determine what course of counter action needs to be applied for future trust building.
· Develop an understanding of personal empowerment and freedom of choice to see beyond historical barriers to peace building.
