The technique i attempted to use was “a series of fragments that form a whole”. This includes a series of scenes which are used to convey one whole meaning. For example, in The Clock (2010), Christian Marclay didn’t intend for the audience to focus on each particular scene, but rather the idea of time.

In my video, similarly to the clock, i wanted the viewer to focus on the meaning behind the scenes rather than the small fragments themselves. I attempted to convey the beauty of Sydney through rushing time lapses.

For audio, i used an upbeat jazz song. Before starting insearch, coming to the city was a rarity for me, but it was always an enjoyable experience, hence why i used such an uplifting tune.

Even though the city is filled with rushing people and horrible traffic, i still believe that its beautiful and that’s what i wanted to convey in this short video.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
