The Real Reason You Can’t Understand Why Black Americans Are Furious
Clay Rivers

I am going to go out on a limb of sorts, Clay. I read through your essay carefully and slowly, and went back are read it again, because it impressed me from the start. It is thought-provoking, and you are an excellent, graceful writer.

Only one reservation. You mentioned racial tension, but followed it with Martin and Brown. Racial tension did follow their deaths, but it was sadly misdirected. They were killed while engaging in violent assaults. It is a mistake to imply that they are either role models or innocent victims. And, since they were violent criminals, they should not be presented as representative of blacks in America.

For the rest of your essay, I sincerely thank you.
