Yes to your post, ranee. It was not confrontational and it was a statement of direct experience. It is not something that you must be a woman to be aware of. Men can see it if they want to. Good men don’t behave that way, and many of them are sympathetic about the problem. Social change comes gradually as a rule, and in the States (and most other nations) a lot of progress has been made in the past 150 years. Keep plugging away. Your words are not falling on fallow ground.
