We introduced ‘Fantasy,’ last week, a strategic genesis plan setting the stage for what’s to come. Through a series of well-crafted tasks, testnet participation, and community initiatives, participants are offered a window into the distribution of ENKI, understanding not just the what and the how of protocol, but the why behind our mission. Let’s start with a brief overview of our tokenomics and our upcoming Phase One plan.

How to Participate:

We will be rolling out a campaign page dedicated to ‘Community Participation and Trivia Tasks,’ marking the official commencement of the Genesis Plan. This platform is designed for all users, offering an accessible entry point into Phase One and embodying the genesis of our journey. Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Community Participation and Trivia Tasks: This campaign page serves as the primary avenue for engagement, welcoming all users to partake in various activities designed to spark curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of ENKI.
  2. Promotional Tasks: As part of the ‘Community Participation and Trivia Tasks,’ users have a special opportunity to earn unlimited tickets, with their contributions poised for additional rewards under the ‘Testnet Bug Bounty and Marketing Collaborations.’
  3. Testnet Interaction: While there’s no specific page for ‘Testnet Participation,’ users are encouraged to engage with our testnet. Our backend subgraph will monitor activities, ensuring that 25,000 ENKI tokens are fairly allocated to active participants.

Phase One: February 15th.

Phase One is meticulously designed to ignite community interest and participation through a series of structured activities, crucial for rallying the community around ENKI’s vision. This phase is instrumental in distributing 150,000 ENKI tokens (1.5% of total supply) across various initiatives:

  • Community Participation and Trivia Tasks: Allocating 25,000 ENKI tokens (0.25% of the total supply) to engage the community through quizzes, trivia, and tasks. This not only rewards active participation but also educates the community about ENKI’s ecosystem and its innovative solutions.
  • Testnet Participation: An additional 25,000 ENKI tokens (0.25% of the total supply) are reserved for rewarding individuals who contribute to the ENKI testnet. This ensures that every participant who aids in the testnet’s success, by providing feedback or identifying bugs, is acknowledged and rewarded.
  • Testnet Bug Bounty and Marketing Collaborations: A significant allocation of 100,000 ENKI tokens (1% of the total supply) is dedicated to identifying bugs through a bug bounty program and fostering marketing collaborations. This aims to enhance the platform’s security and functionality while expanding its reach and engagement.
  • Eco Airdrop Postponed until Phase 2: We’re moving the Eco Airdrop to Phase 2 to include a broader range of ecosystem protocols! This decision enables us to enrich the airdrop, ensuring a more diverse and robust participation. Stay tuned for an enhanced Eco Airdrop experience as we deepen our ecosystem connections!

The Strategic Significance of the 25,000 ENKI Tokens Allocation

The allocation of 25,000 ENKI tokens for community participation and tasks within Phase One is a strategic move designed to achieve several key objectives:

  • Recognizing Early Support: It acknowledges the vital role of early participants in building the ENKI community, highlighting the value of early engagement and contribution.
  • Incentivizing Deep Engagement: By rewarding participants who delve into understanding ENKI’s protocol and its potential, ENKI motivates a profound and meaningful engagement with the ecosystem.
  • Cultivating Long-term Loyalty: This allocation sets a precedent for rewarding community engagement and loyalty, aiming to foster a community that supports, advocates for, and contributes to ENKI beyond the genesis phase.

Clarifying Testnet Participation and ENKI Rewards

A crucial aspect of the “Fantasy” initiative is the other allocation of 25,000 ENKI rewards for active participants in the ENKI testnet phase. This reward pool is specifically designed to recognize and incentivize the contributions of users who engage with the testnet by providing valuable feedback, identifying bugs, and helping to refine the overall system. This initiative has been active for some time, yet it appears there’s a need for a more explicit explanation, given the ongoing questions and confusion within our community, particularly regarding the distinction between Metis points and ENKI rewards.

It’s important to emphasize that the ENKI rewards system operates independently from Metis points or rewards. While Metis points may be a part of the broader Metis ecosystem’s incentive mechanisms, the 25,000 ENKI rewards are specifically tied to contributions made within the ENKI testnet environment. This distinction is vital for participants to recognize the unique value and opportunities presented by engaging directly with ENKI’s development phase.

Conclusion

Phase One of the ENKI Genesis Plan is a foundational step towards building a community-driven, inclusive, and innovative DeFi ecosystem. Through strategic token allocations and engagement opportunities, ENKI not only rewards early participation but also ensures that the community is actively involved in shaping the project’s future. This phase is a testament to ENKI’s strategic approach to community engagement, tokenomics, and its vision for a more accessible and democratized DeFi landscape.
