etnah presented Lee Kun-Yong’s first NFT collection Digital Bodyscape 76–3 to the public at Galleria Department Store Luxury Hall under the theme of <LOVE CHRISTMAS with Lee Kun-Yong> from December 2nd to 25th. The exhibition showcased Lee Kun-Yong’s NFTs through a digital canvas controlled remotely from a smartphone along with paintings and drawings produced specifically for this event.
This exhibition, presented in collaboration with Galleria Department Store, a representative luxury department store in Korea, is an event that aptly meets the purpose of etnah, which aims to build a free connection between online and offline and the formation of a sustainable community for those who pursue the value of beauty. It was a special exhibition where you could appreciate and own NFT art, paintings, and drawings of prestigious artist Lee Kun-Yong.
In addition, in this exhibition, etnah introduced various ways to utilize NFT art in our daily lives through different display methods, leading to a high response from the public. Many people showed great interest in the digital canvas that allowed digital artworks to be displayed in an offline setting and showed particular interest in the interactive aspect of etnah’s NFT, where the NFT holders can actively participate in the making of their final artwork.
Upon minting Digtial Bodyscape 76–3, Lee Kun-Yong’s avatar appears on screen to show an art performance after the holders choose the canvas color and paint colors. The audience were intrigued by the plethora of possible color combinations and uniqueness of each NFT.
During the exhibition period, various heart-shaped motifs of Digital Bodyscape 76–3 were displayed on the media façade of Galleria Department Store, further demonstrating the love and gratitude of the Christmas season. The heart themed media façade drew massive attention to the pop-up store since Galleria department store sits on one of the busiest areas in Seoul.
Starting with the <Love Christmas with Lee Kun-Yong> pop-up store, etnah plans to actively introduce and promote NFT art through various offline exhibitions and events in the future.
