37 Years Later Zimbabwe is Free of Mugabe
N ovember 21, 2017, is a day the world and the people of Zimbabwe will remember. After 37 years of ruling Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe finally resigns, this has been a long-time coming and Zimbabweans could not be happier, now they can embark on a new journey to being a democratic country. Not until Tuesday, Robert Mugabe officially gave his resignation, now Zimbabweans can begin a new chapter for their lives and their country. Robert Mugabe is the longest-serving dictator of any country, he came into power after liberating Zimbabwe from the British in 1980. Throughout his reign, Robert Mugabe has been a controversial figure and has severely damaged Zimbabwe which will take decades to repair.
