A. Introduction
PRA Candybox is a Candybox dApp based on EOS. Users can claim tokens every four hours. The more EPRA tokens one pledges, at shorter intervals one can grab tokens again.

Wallets： The Candybox has integrated with TokenPocket, Meetone, MathWallet, Lynx and 10+ EOS smartphone wallets. It is also compatible with Chrome webpage via Scatter, the Chrome extension of EOS wallet.
B. Mode
PRA Candybox is an EOS-based Candybox developed by PRA (ProChain). The latter is a transparent advertising data ecosystem. Users can claim tokens on PRA Candybox with one click. EPRA is the name of PRA Candybox’s proprietary token. The level of an account varies in accordance with the number of EPRAs pledged. The more EPRA tokens one pledges, the higher his or her level (Level 1- 12) is, and the more rights the account can receive. In the case of no collateral or a total number less than 1,000 EPRAs (level 1), one can claim tokens every four hours. A top account (level 12) can receive 12 airdrops every hour. More details are available on the app. There are currently 20 projects airdropping tokens on the dApp, including EPRA. Each project’s airdrops can be received repeatedly with one click, while users don’t need to join a project’s telegram group or do any other operations. All specific information of these projects is available, including basic information, official website, white paper, exchange, app links and etc.
In general, PRA Candybox is operated in a centralized manner. Projects need to negotiate with PRA Candybox before being permitted to join the ecosystem. Then, the Candybox will select the better projects through centralized screening and release them on its platform, which eliminates the problem of fraudulent airdrop on Telegram and low-quality airdrop projects. Projects can also carry out big data analysis with data based on the real-name registration system and the addresses of the wallet with tokens airdropped. Briefly speaking, PRA Candybox is an advertising platform and send the bonus of ads directly to the users.
At present, PRA Candybox is the Top 1 EOS dApp listed on DappRadar and the only candy-related dApp among the Top 100 dApps. Actually, for the time being, there are relatively few EOS dApps focusing on candybox in the market. Moreover, among these candy dApps, only PRA Candybox has achieved a significant number of daily active users. In the early phase of EOS candy, the projects often directly perform airdrops to all wallets. They did it in the ration of 1:1 or in a fixed ration. Later, some projects require users to register to receive airdrops. ProChain developed the PRA Candybox as a solution to the tedious precedures during airdrops. Currently, it has won certain first-mover advantage in the market, but the technical threshold of the project itself is not very high. So, how to maintain the popularity will largely depend on the team’s future operational performance.

Although the smart contract address is available, the project itself is not open-sourced so far.
D. Team
The core team is composed of 5 people, all from Baidu.com and Tencent. The official website has not listed the LinkedIn links of the members. Besides, Pro Chain itself does not have a LinkedIn page. As all of the members are Chinese, it is harder to trace their previous profiles on LinkedIn alone. In this situation, the actual ability of the members is unknown.
E. Ecosystem
According to DappRadar, the number of PRA Candybox’s active users keeps ranking as one of the Top 3 recently and is the only candy-related EOS dApp among the Top 100.
Since the end of July, the daily active users of PRA Candybox reached 5,000. Since it is a candy dApp, there is no transaction flow, so the flow data on the graph is negligible.
PRA Candybox has 4,436 members on Telegram. Most of its discussion is focused on ads of projects. It opened its Twitter account in July 2017. It has published 71 tweets and has 1,917 followers so far.
At present, the Candybox has integrated with EOS MeetOne, TokenPocket, Math Wallet, IMEOS, OracleChain, Bitpie, 51Token, ZebraWallet, OneChain, Starteos, Fanqian Wallet, EosToken, EOSLIVE, BitPortal, BitKeep and Secrypto.
As an EOS-based dApp, the performance of PRA Candybox is pretty good. (Data as of December 24, 2018)
F. Conclusion
As a candy dApp on EOS, PRA Candybox is easy to use and offers a perfect solution to the tedious procedures during the traditional airdrops. Meanwhile, it accumulated a large number of users within a short period by taking use of people’s desire for bonus. In addition, it has attracted many projects as well. The team has also shown its excellent operational capability. It is quite uncommon for a dApp to win the support of 10+ wallets within such a short time. But the problem is that the dApp is not perfectly compatible with all the wallets listed. We tried PRA Candybox with Math Wallet and Bitpie. While it worked perfectly with Math Wallet, the operation on Bitpie was extremely unsmooth. So, the team should pay more attention to the problem of compatibility with different wallets while expanding at a high speed.
