Visions was released in January, 2012.

One of the most accomplished albums of the decade so far. A charismatic composite of mid-tempo beats, ambient tones, synth sensibilities.

Headstrong, unyielding openers Infinite Love Without Fulfilment, Genesis & Oblivion are succeeded by a playground of alternative dance, deconstructed pop, celestial wails, breaching sonic barriers, beseeching the very stars to join.

An adaptable, engrossing, vibrant & contemporary synth-pop collection.

Symphonia IX is exemplary of the captivating nature of the album; as lulling as it is rousing, structured but inscrutable. Visions is more cohesive & replete compared to 2015’s lucid Art Angels (reviewed here). Similar to Merriweather Post Pavilion, it’s own commendable dominion. Show me another album with a forest of seductive paranoia (Skin), reflective rave (Be A Body), trance chamber pop (Know the Way)...

An ornamental, aural pleasure.
