East London With Kids

I love East London and always have.

I’m mum to a three year old and live in Shoreditch. I moved upstream from Clapton when my daughter was six months old. Most people relocate in the opposite direction I know. It’s a long, long story that’s not for here…

East London With Kids will inform you about a child friendly East London and days out from here. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, relative or friend I hope I can share ideas with you to enjoy with the little people in your lives.

What I loved about East London pre-baby are the same things I love now. I love how you can walk or bicycle or bus everywhere you want to go. How shoppers and morning after the night clubbers cross paths in the street. I appreciate the sense of community, the creativity, the talent and the variety. It’s just now I prefer to be outside more, plan things further ahead and take the more unusual path. As long as it’s not too much hard work!

Of course I value stuff beyond kids. East London WITHOUT kids! I’m a big fan of craft, pattern, clothes, meditation, interior décor, food, nature, festivals, music and wine (you’ll not meet many mums these days who aren’t). I’ll include all the nice stuff. And tips.

The question I’ll be asking myself is “How child friendly is it and how do-able if not??”
