It’s 2017, and while there are a ton of great podcasts out there, these are the ones I personally think would be helpful to other twenty something’s or any grown up. Let’s dive in!

  1. Paychecks and Balances w/ Rich J and Marcus G. This podcast is about helping millennials get their finances and work life together. The hosts themselves are older millennials who are very experienced with getting out of debt and progressing in their respective fields. Most episodes have guests from all over who provide a lot of resources to the listener. I’ve learned so much about goals, credit/credit cards, and side-hustling while discovering helpful tools and apps. They also have a cool email list you can sign up for here. Episodes usually run about 40 minutes and are available each Tuesday.
  2. Minority Trail Blazer Podcast with Greg E Hill. Man, this could actually be number 1. It’s a very inspiring, motivational, and powerful podcast for any millennials, minority or otherwise. Greg has a great way of getting the best story out of his guests and picking through their lives for tools and time saving lessons. This podcast could be the driving force for anyone considering an entrepreneurial endeavor or just needing motivation to get through the work week. Episodes usually run from 50 minutes to 90 minutes for the chunkier interviews. They drop every Thursday and are well worth the listen.
  3. The Daily meditation podcast with Mary Mclee. This one is more personal to me because I like meditation a lot, it’s relaxing for me. This podcast is exactly what it says, Mary provides a base for meditating for mental and physical relaxation. Mary gives affirmations, breathing techniques and chakra cleansing tools that are worth the 12 minutes a day or at least at the beginning of the week.
  4. Ted Talks. TED talks podcasts range from anything in technology, education and design. Ted talks has separate and different podcasts for most general topics such as TedTalks Health, TedTalks Business, TedTalks science and more. They are available in video. Ted talks also has a weekly NPR podcast with great stories that will keep you in your car listening to a full episode after you’ve parked your car.
  5. The Dave Ramsey podcast with Dave Ramsey. I’m very big on financial podcasts and Dave is one of the best. He takes calls from listeners about debt solutions, credit cards and retirement plans.

Dave usually goes for about 40 minutes and has topics like the ones above about getting out of massive student debt and advice for someone hating their current job.

Have some podcasts you love? Let me know in the comments or FB so I can check them out and share them.
