A not so cloudy day!

Various analogies are used to describe the internet. The pipeline analogy is often used to explain the internet. A Pipeline represents a data processing job or a flow of data that occurs over the internet. Everything is delivered through one main pipe. A computing utility service can be described as a giant pipeline which merges or splits to create multiple pipes. “Pipes can span across regions, cities and countries. A pipeline can shut off or divert. Pipelines can divert web services to control the path of information provided via the internet. Pipelines shut off to harm another country. Data processing is therefore restricted to the intended country.

The cloud is another analogy of the internet. A cloud has many different layers and therefore consists of many different components found within a cloud computing utility service. Cloud service involves data access and processing that occurs on the web via internet providers, internet connections, accounts and servers around the globe. Apple Incorporated features iCloud as the primary utility service accessed world-wide. The iCloud provides available and accessible utility service with any Apple device purchase. Commands can be sent through iCloud to any Apple device to manage and interact with Apple products. Internet access is required to use iCloud. iCloud services web and non web-related information. Five important iCloud features allow service users to view information relative to Apple devices with the use of Apple iCloud.

Pipeline life line!
  1. Firsty, all Apple devices are combined into iCloud. iCloud can be accessed most anywhere around the globe via the internet and allows information to be relayed through iCloud to Apple devices through the Lost iPhone setting in iCloud Settings. Alternative solutions such as Google Cloud Platform offer a different layout and more complex ways to manage big data. Although Google Cloud Platform allows users to code the complexities of the platform may frustrate a basic user with little to no knowledge of how to make full use of Google Cloud Platform. Apple offers a very simplistic and easy to understand platform based on the iCloud layout.
  2. Data usage and storage usage on all Apple devices can be viewed, tracked and modified with iCloud settings for multiple Apple devices. All passwords and personal email addresses are stored in iCloud and can be modified.
  3. Security on all Apple devices can be improved, monitored and enhanced on iCloud. Multiple devices can be accessed with the use of iCloud.
  4. iCloud allows Apple users to initialize a data wipe in case of lost or stolen Apple devices.
  5. Furthermore, iCloud allows service users to restore settings on any Apple device.
Tell me what you want from me !

Data management is made easy through iCloud services. iCloud offers clear, clean and organized indexes to connect users to content and information. Service users can access information on demand. The online indexes for iCloud consist of icons that lead iCloud service users to device information. iCloud is highly sufficient because easy access to all data happens under one service platform. Apple allows service users to closely monitor device activities.

You ate my data!

Apple iCloud offers data management tools through the iCloud service. iCloud stores Apple devices and relevant information found in the Apple devices which includes passwords, phone numbers, webpages, bookmarks, locations of all devices and statistics based on storage use. Furthermore iCloud allows for storage of notes, photos and music. iCloud connects Apple users to stored data and information with ease. iCloud service users are able to remote wipe and send messages to devices confiscated by unwanted iCloud users with the click of a button on iCloud.

Look at what my cloud has found!

The iCloud service utility allows users to take control over personalized data should Apple devices fall into the wrong hands. Remote features found within iCloud allow device owners to excercise some control over devices registered with iCloud at almost any distance. iCloud can send information or shut off access to information to any device assigned under iCloud hence the pipeline analogy mentioned in the introduction. iCloud allows restrictions to be administrated on Apple devices which can also occur with remote password changes through iCloud. iCloud fool proofs all Apple devices with instant access to all devices under one cloud. iCloud proves to be a resourceful service that goes above and beyond the umbrella.
